Who cares what people here have heard of? Presumably for your argument
what matters is what people _out there_ use.

Are you saying Fedora is a fringe distribution?

The mainstream distributions are:
 1. Ubuntu
 2. Fedora
 3. Mint
 4. OpenSUSE
 5. Debian
