Using encoding in the same sentence with encoders seems off to me. The
definition uses convert/conversion, though that is also a bit
confusing in this form.
"...allow multimedia streams to be converted to a new format"?
Though if there's a strong feeling for 'encoding' I'll post a new
patch with that.
