I kept quiet watching in disbelief what was happening.

I have to say that I wasn't that impressed with how the first takeover was done.

Then the copyright claim on the logo and now destroying the ffmpeg
mailing list: it's just appalling.

Having a voice of reason in this mess is unlikely going to be heard I'm afraid.
