Would be a pity to have the ps2 mmi code disappear from ffmpeg, but 
admittedly it is quite an old platform and 'niche', so if it does that's 
ok too.
I've expressed my interest regarding maintaining the ps2 code to 
Michael, and can do so as long as the hardware doesn't die and i can 
spare the time/have the interest to work on it.

Continuous (and automated) testing probably will give some issues, due 
to the age of the linux distribution; i.e., it will break unnecessarily 
(e.g. internal compiler errors) and will need manual intervention.
