derek is saying that people should use avisynth/vapoursynth and that libavfilter
should be destroyed.

his mail can be made into a few bugreports:
1. need more newer filters
2. why rewrite filters , just write wrappers
3. documentation needed
4. api needs to be stable
5. dynamic loading of filters
6. fix api so 3rd party devels feel comfortable using it

i guess his main question is 'what is ffmpegs goal?'.
