yes, ill revert when i merge that one

about differences, it depends alot on where they are.
when something is actively maintained on the ffmpeg side then theres
really no need to bother much with thinking about differences.
Its up to the maintainer in this case, I just want all features and
all bugfixes on our side, if the code is similar or totally different
to libav is up to the maintainer in that case.

But for areas where there is no active maintainer on our side, its
easier to keep differences minimal unless theres a good reason to have
a difference. ANd indeed there are many differences in code like this
that have good reasons. But in this case here the revert would have
done pretty much the same as the applied patch ...
