oops, nevermind. its just an intel atom board.

hardware acceleration decoding should be working with vdpau.
it works with mythtv, http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/VDPAU

plex should support vdpau as well.

as for hardware encoding with atom? i dont think anyone has worked on
that yet.
