For end users I deal with:

1) they are not just sitting watching a video but performing a show of one type or another

2) they would have no clue what the warnings are all about

3) there are a lot of spurious warnings I don't have much of a clue about but I get the scope of it

4) they display multiple videos at same time for various reasons and would not even know what video the warnings are coming from 
sometimes (without some leg work by me to figure it out and all for nothing becasuse of above)

These people are not developers and don't have any idea about things like this. Mostly they use quality videos.

I could give an option and worry about thread safety and locking but it would be pointless.
