I contacted the EBU with this question, and unfortunately, they couldn't
refer to any specific application to use as reference.

At work, we have at least 2 applications I can test it with:
- Magix Sequoia/Samplitude
- NOA WaveWizard


I've tested it with NOA's WaveWizard, and the files produced with
Georg's patch worked fine. The waveform was rendered correctly, and
matched the ones from NOA's implementation.
