Sure but this is unrelated to the patch afaict.

I did not find an application that didn't play the 
sample for 18 hours and I did not find any hint in 
the specification that 0xFFFF should be handled 
specifically. I did find several places where the 
maximum gif frame duration was mentioned as 0xFFFF.
