Hi! I'm Daniel J. Lewis, host of The Audacity to Podcast.

I'm interested in hiring a developer to create a simple cross-platform GUI
that uses ffmpeg for measuring integrated loudness, loudness range, and
true peak.

The command is simple:

ffmpeg -nostats -i SOURCE-FILE.wav -filter_complex ebur128=peak=true -f
null -

I envision a simple app for Windows, OS X, and maybe even Linux, packaged
with ffmpeg (if that's allowed). Launching the app would give drag-and-drop
target for audio files. After it processes the audio with the above
command, it would display the information for that file.

Ideally, this would allow batch processing and display a row for each file.
That would make it easy for comparisons.

My plan would be to either offer this app for free, or maybe as a part of a
podcasting community I run.

Please reply if you're interested and what you would charge for this.

Faithfully,

Daniel J. Lewis
