I suggest you make this ret as well and change udp_set_multicast_ttl to 
return ff_neterrno() instead of -1 on error.

Strictly speaking this is not the same, because in some cases the code 
checks for non-zeroness for success of network functions, and not 
less-than-zero. I don't know if it makes a difference in practice for 
some exotic architectures, yes the current code is not conistent about 
it.
