Hi all

There are a few independant issues:
* iam concerned about the rise of bitter hatred on the mailing list.

* Whoever has the majority in the GA will by extension have the majority in the CC
  and the CC then may act with bias accordingly.

* After over 3 weeks of attacks in some threads, and yesterday even a key admin offering
  his resignation, I realize, this not only affects time very significantly but
  also starts affecting my physical health and the health of the project. Even
  though all CC members have done their best to reduce conflicts.

* Before the CC there was overwhelming agreement that hostilities are a problem, and
  the CC even after multiple iterations has not succeeded in really solving it.

No matter on which side of some of these "discussions" you are, they cost everyone
a lot of time, and many mails violate the CoC.

First i have two requests.

If you see some unfriendlyness, speak up, talk to the person either in public
or private. (always choose private, in case your mail may be seen as offensive)
this is likely much more effective than a ban to result in both sides
being happy. And no need to even be a CC member.

If you have not been involved in any "fights"
And are known by some GA members (so they would vote for you)
And belive you can help us keep the team together as one and restore peace
(i mean not sit there and do nothing but also not just ban people which has
soured some things too, but then sometimes a ban is the correct action)
Please become a candidate.

For the case where both community and community committee fail. We always had
moderators and admins even long before we had a community committee.
Id like to appologize for my inaction in the past as one of the admins. I will
try to do my best not to let hostility/provocations/trolling/insults/...
run wild from now on. And id like to also ask the other moderators who until
now just seperated spam from non spam in the ML moderation que. To also keep
an eye open for toxic mail.
