but my ffmpeg says that libfaac is enabled when I run it...
FFmpeg version SVN-r2, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
  configuration: --enable-libfaac --enable-libfaad --enable-libmp3lame
--enable-gpl
and the libraries seem to be installed as well...
