 I could reproduce the crash with
 amv/MTV_high_res_320x240_sample_Penguin_Joke_MTV_from_WMV.amv from FATE.

 Switching compilers from GCC 4.6.1 to GCC 4.5.3 made the crash disappear.
 I didn't know compilers can miscompile assembly...

 And: Where do I get the "test" target? I only get "No rule to make target
 'test'"...
