 I think I'm also seeing this bug. I'm using:

 ffmpeg version 0.9, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers
   built on Dec 12 2011 19:52:01 with gcc 4.6.2

 If someone can provide instructions on how to produce a "backtrace", then
 I can supply one, or whatever other information is needed.
