Comment:

 Confirmed with {{{-vf}}} (and {{{-f lavfi -i testsrc}}} as input) but not
 with {{{-f lavfi}}}.

 I will be reworking the whole scheduling logic of filters, including
 {{{vf_overlay}}}. I'll keep in mind to check that particular case.
