 If it has been fixed, and it is a dataloss bug, how come the online
 documentation was not updated?

 Trying to follow
 https://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/wiki/UbuntuCompilationGuide running
 ./configure --enable-static

 Found yasm 0.8.0.2194
 Minimum version is yasm-1.0.0
 If you really want to compile without asm, configure with --disable-asm.

 So no I can not just test against current git head.
