 Does the sample you uploaded - test-wtv.wtv - actually contain visible
 subtitles?

 If not, and since attachments and subtitles are different things (as shown
 on ffmpeg-devel today), please consider opening a second ticket for
 subtitles including a sample that allows to test this. I can also do it,
 but please point me to a sample.
