This is old, current FFmpeg fails, I sent a patch today - perhaps you
could test it?

Which is bad since FFmpeg does support up to 16 bit per component.

I'll look into it.
Since libopenjpeg does not define XYZ, this will be impossible to solve
afaict.
I cannot really comment on XYZ vs RGB and lut, the decoding problem in
current FFmpeg will hopefully be fixed soon.
