 Thats really strange, but you seem to be right. I guess this is a bug in
 my program that builds the arguments to ffmpeg.

 Anyhow: I still cannot get ffmpeg to terminate when i try to convert the
 first file i specified. I have also tested -an and it does not terminate
 then either (although the memory consumption is much more resonable)
