 I believe "part" of the problem has been fixed with a966d94891cea4b571bd2
 . The original problem (the problem given in the title) is quite possibly
 still there.  @Pyriel0 so...do you still see fps drops over time (and also
 have idle cpu and idle bandwidth?)
