 Yes, it crashed. However I noticed vlc is complaining about the --ffmpeg-
 threads parameter: "Warning: option --ffmpeg-threads no longer exists.".

 And I realized that the vlc and ffmpeg are not from opensuse 12.3
 repositories, but from Packman.
