performance was not the primary goal. That said, a change has been
committed to FFmpeg that improves playback on multicore systems
considerably, so once the change hits vlc, it may work for you (but there
is no guarantee).
Thanks, This is for archival purposes, so there will be access copies. I
just wanted to be sure there wasn't something wrong with the encode.
