 I'm building XBMC from source
 (https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc/commits/master> using external ffmpeg
 2.0.2 (deb-multimedia debian package). All works well.

 Upgrading ffmpeg to 2.1 (deb-multimedia debian package), breaks XBMC (no
 more video output, sound OK, no error in XBMC log). Even rebuilding XBMC
 with new libav* headers does not solve the problem.  Same symptoms.

 Are there known API inciompatibilities?
