 Since the following is not necessarily clear;
 * A file that plays fine with WMP but fails with {{{ffplay}}} (like this
 one) warrants a bug report.
 * A file that plays fine with WMP but fails transcoding with {{{ffmpeg}}}
 warrants a bug report.
 Both are completely independent of how other open-source tools behave: It
 makes no big difference if a file plays fine with vlc or MPlayer when you
 open a bug report on this bug tracker.
