 find out what option -g is an alias for (if this is the case)

 {{{g}}} is an option documented in the Codec Options sections, which you
 can find in ffmpeg-all(1) or ffmpeg-codecs(1). FFmpeg is a complex project
 and you need to know where to look for when you're looking for a specific
 option. Using a more descriptive name such as {{{gop_size}}} may help
 though.
