 I'm trying to investigate this problem, but still haven't got any result
 yet. I also noticed that SDL uses CGDirectPalleteRef which is deprecated
 in OSX 10.9 (Maverics). There is a fix for that already -
 https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2085.
