 Not that I'm rushing, but is there a chance this will be fixed soon?
 Other screen recording options on OS X (e.g. ScreenFlow) result in
 quality/color loss and/or don't allow you to capture pure RGB.  ffmpeg is
 the only option I know of that offers high flexibility and can record a
 "perfect" lossless recording.  I've currently put all my video projects on
 hold because of this.
