 I'll build FFMPEG as soon as possible. I'm under Mageia Linux 4.1, I tried
 with vlc 2.1.6, totem 3.10 and dragon 4.12.

 Please can you tell me exactly which command you used to show the duration
 of the video? I'd like to use the same command.

 I will provide an ogv file exhibiting the expected behaviour very soon.
