I have update my OpenSuse version from 12.3 to Leap and the VOB files I
can manage previously my VOB files with ffmpeg2.8.3, now the same files
produces an error:

VTS_01_1.VOB: Invalid data found when processing input
----
Note that the current version of xine reads the VTS_01_1.VOB without any
problem.
Is it due to a missing codec?
I'm embarrassed because I have developped a kdenlive project which uses
some clips extracted from VOB files. With the current ffmpeg version my
kdenlive project is broken...
Help is welcome
