 I'm not trolling, just curious.

 There's no mention of this neither in runtime warnings nor in code
 comments, would a separate patch adding such warning (H264 +
 auto_convert=0) be welcome?

 Anyway, I believe I have researched this specific issue deep enough to use
 a specific options set (h264-in-mp4, libx264 x264opts=stitchable=1, concat
 auto_convert=0) in production.
