 "pan=stereo|c0=c0" was a typo. It's meant to be "pan=mono|c0=c0" as this
 is how I found it to work in the first case, where I had another audio
 input.

 A simple audio only command line will also produce this issue:

 {{{ffmpeg -i dolby_e.wav -acodec pcm_s24le output.wav}}}
