 This time it took you actually 8 hours to downplay the importance. This
 project is loosing traction? ;-)

 Your decision. But life tells you, if you neglect future trends, you will
 become a relic of the past. The only way to avoid this if you make
 adaptation and new technologies as your '''top priorities'''. Too bad this
 is not happening. Just keep in mind, if ffmpeg doesn't survive, there will
 be no project where you can code for fun or promote yourself as a
 freelancer. Then it will be over. Then you all have to go to different
 projects. Maybe even libav - but there coding just for fun is not so easy
 because there people actually want to implement things the right way not
 just fast and the way it makes the most fun.
