 The ffmpeg binary I have been using throughout this ticket I built myself
 following the instructions at
 https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Ubuntu

 We also build ourselves the binary we use in production, but not from the
 master branch. Behavior is the same though.
