 ͏    However it might be even worthy to just implement a shortcut version:
 ͏    That mere blindly assumes that of the 1st "-i".

 ͏    Or mere simply:
 ͏    Use whichever it's placed before "-i": last occurrence takes
 precedence.
 ͏    Assert 1st "-i" if one placed after "-i" (as output option).

 ͏    Any rejection?
