[FFmpeg-user] getting some xml-ish dump while ffprobing a media file's metadata?

 two+ questions:

 1) for which version of ffmpeg/ffprobe will this patch be implemented
as a command line option, say:

 ffmpeg -xml-meta ...

 and will it be based on some sort of xml schemas?

 The thing is that and "xml" option for metadata would streamline the
coding/interface greatly. Installing a patch becomes a user issue and
any kinds of etceteras would throw them off

 2) What do you do when errors must be reported? say:
