You're running Windows, right?  What set of compilers are you using?
What shell are you using?  The problem is that gcc doesn't know where
the temporary file is.  Pertinent error messages:

> gcc -c -o /tmp/ffconf.4KfD83gr.o /tmp/ffconf.n7mAu0Kc.c
> gcc.exe: error: /tmp/ffconf.n7mAu0Kc.c: No such file or directory
> gcc.exe: fatal error: no input files
> compilation terminated.
> C compiler test failed.
