(More unrelated comments: 
Why did you compress the output:
To make reading it more difficult?
Some of the build options look _very_ strange, consider 
using ./configure && make or at least something more 
similar.
-s 720x480 -c:v mpeg2video -c:a ac3 look unneeded)

I can reproduce the problem here, if I haven't opened a 
ticket in the next days please remind me.
