[FFmpeg-user] ffmpeg 1.0.5 and buffer underflow

I have likewise been having buffer overflow problems with the latest git
HEAD and have submitted a bug report that is currently open. (#2467)
Keeping an eye on that in the bug tracker might give some clues.
