[FFmpeg-user] How can I use the fieldmatch filter to detelecine?

I may misunderstand this sentence but you 
cannot use / compile / run / whatever 
FFmpeg from inside the MPlayer directory.

Just checkout current FFmpeg as explained 
on http://ffmpeg.org/download.html and 
build it with ./configure --enable-gpl && make
