[FFmpeg-user] Hello and newbie question

Thanks for the sarcastic and unhelpful reply!

As I said I am very new and looking for help, the command is ffmpeg
so how the hell would someone new to this know that? So If I upgrade
and install ffmpeg and NOT libav how can I fix this issue.

because the Ubuntu maintainer is a complete idiot who deployed you *not* ffmpeg
at all but a unsuccessful fork

so if you don't use ffmpeg ask for help on the libav-list and call Ubuntu
some bad names: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FFmpeg
