Can I ask what's the reason for this? I could concat and even transcode two
recently created avi/Ut-video/PCM files into one mkv, using this syntax.

(Ouch, For the other two concat variants. The first is mostly unworkable on
windows. The second is just amazingly complicated/cumbersome.)
