[FFmpeg-user] Text on multiple lines

Hi all, I found this old thread on StackOverflow:

on the subject of having text split on multiple lines.

I tried to replace \n with \f or other suggested, but I've got no luck.
Is there any way I can simply take a text and have it written through
drawtext on multiple lines,  without having to write it on an external file
?

P.s
Creating a drawtext for each line and calculating the offset is really the
last resort I want to think about.
