[FFmpeg-user] compilation error

I've been successfully using the guide at
https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Ubuntu for a long time, but
recently have run into this compilation error during the "make" for ffmpeg.
Searched the archives as well as Google, but couldn't resolve it myself.
