[Libav-user] generating timecode in a quicktime movie

Hello,
I'm trying to generate a movie and I'd like to include timecodes 
information to my video stream.
I know that quicktime has support for a timecode track so I am using the 
mov encoder in ffmpeg hoping i could add my own timecode track.

So I have two questions: is that the right way to go about it, and more 
importantly is there a sample/tutorial on how to add a timecode track to 
a stream.
