[Libav-user] Finding best corresponding between channel number and channel layout

Hi

Seeing the AVCodecContext::request_channels is now deprecated ; what
would be the best way to replace its use with request_channel_layout

e.g. something that gives the most likely layout for a given number of
channels ?

for mono and stereo, it's obvious... for more than 2 channels it
starts to get murky..
